Each Thursday afternoon the children have been working with a sports coach developing their hockey skills.
To support the children’s writing when describing a setting, they acted out a scene that was read to them from the story of Hamlet.
Click on the link below to see the drama work which led to their work on prediction.
We have started reading Hamlet this week. Lots of drama based activities to kick start their learning about the story and also to inspire their writing.
Please ensure your child has PE kit in school for indoor PE on Mondays and outdoor PE on Thursdays.
Outdoor kit should include joggers, a sweatshirt and trainers suitable for outdoor activities. This kit may become muddy when the weather is wet and will need to be washed.
Thank you for your cooperation.
How many swap jumps can we do in 60 seconds?
Friday morning Dr Mel Jordan one of our parents and head of contemporary art at The Royal college of art came to work with year 3. She taught the children all about proportion when drawing self portraits. They look forward to their next session with her.
